Provides opportunities for Chamber members to network and grow their businesses through events. At the meetings, the BCC (Business Connection Committee) has networking opportunities and presentations on relevant learning topics.

The focus of this Council will be to build support for business education partnerships- allowing businesses and education leaders to make connections, earn from each other, identify common goals and issues.

The Chamber's Council on Health Care provides the business perspective on key health care issues. The Council supports reform efforts that promote shared responsibility for health care financing, expand access to coverage and quality care and create health professional workforce opportunities.


Meets every other month, the first Tuesday at 9 am.

The purpose of this committee is to provide Chamber members and the business community with a forum in the transportation, logistics and supply chain sectors; to meet and develop contacts; to share information and know-how; to create a channel of communication to the cities; create synergies across various industries; to share and highlight key trends, and to provide relevant insights for businesses to benefit and learn.

The purpose of the committee is to increase Chamber brand awareness, and promote Chamber initiatives, events, membership opportunities, and benefits. Some of the things we will be looking at is the Chamber’s website, our social media presence, event planning and marketing, and general ideas to promote the Chamber’s brand through the business community.

This committee will work with the Board of Directors on issues and initiatives important to our economy, businesses, and the community. The scope of work will focus on Education & Workforce, Transportation & Infrastructure, Taxation, Legal & Regulatory Affairs, Economic Prosperity, Military Assets, and Natural Resources.

The Tourism & Hospitality Committee is comprised of members from hotels, restaurants, and retail who provide resources and opportunities for those working in these industries to connect with fellow colleagues and gain the latest on industry trends and tourism. The committee will work with city, county, and state organizations to provide critical details about what’s happening in the hospitality industry and our community.

Business Impact & Growth Committee

Business Impact and Growth Committee, BIG is created to enhance the economic environment in areas of business opportunity, promotion, and development at all levels within the greater Southwest Valley Region for all our members, supporters, sponsors, and member cities through conscious local and intentional activities.

 

Locally we will enhance business growth in region, align with local governments to make the region more competitive, while supporting local business, industry, and organizations to help fuel growth in southwest region. 

           

Internationally we will focus on Foreign Direct Investment, attract new business and impact to the region. While continuing to utilize existing relationships to improve investment and capitalize on these opportunities.

 

Benefits will be to create local and foreign investment, job creation, increased tax revenue, and community development.
